YOGAPL3Y Philosophy

The YOGAPL3Y poses and activities are based on traditional yoga and best practices in mindfulness for children and have been combined with PL3Y philosophy to ensure all lessons are fun and engaging for kids! Poses and activities are organized purposefully into lessons to enhance the development of the whole child (mentally, physically & emotionally).

The PL3Y Philosophy:

We believe that through movement you can do more than just help people get fit – we believe that you can foster community, positive mindsets and vibrant health. Our goal is to help people discover, practice and maintain a positive and playful mindset towards physical activity and lifelong active living.

The 3 rules of PL3Y are infused throughout each class to foster an overall positive attitude towards yourself, others and the world.

Be Positive. Be Fun. Be Yourself.

Our first rule is sometimes a difficult one, but instead of saying “I can’t” we encourage participants to say "I will try"! In our classes we challenge ourselves, make mistakes, try again, participate, achieve successes!

Our second rule is that we want you to BE fun! We want you to share the best and most fun version of yourself!

Each person is different –  our third rule celebrates each person's uniqueness and unique physical & emotional journey.

Participants learn about their Bubble of Awesome where we are all free to be ourselves.

  • non-competitive environment

Why Play?

Play is the place where individuals are the most open to learning.  It provides a space to feel open and allows us to be our most authentic selves. Play is FUN and creates an environment where we don’t take ourselves too seriously and feel confidence to fall down and then get back up and try again.

Why ORANGE as Our color?

Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
